FIDAE 2026: The debut of the Cessna SkyCourier and the King Air 360C Special Missions sets the tone for the aviation industry

The International Air and Space Fair (FIDAE), taking place from April 7 to 12 in Santiago, Chile, will be the setting for one of the year’s most anticipated milestones: the first-ever landing in the country of the Cessna SkyCourier, alongside the advanced Beechcraft King Air 360C Special Missions.

What’s on display

At the Textron Aviation booth, attendees will have the opportunity to get an up-close look at two platforms designed to redefine efficiency and versatility across the region.

Cessna SkyCourier: The major new addition for logistics and transport

This twin-engine turboprop makes its highly anticipated arrival in Chile as the ultimate solution for demanding industries such as mining and salmon farming.

  • Capacity and Performance: Designed for high utilization, it can carry up to 19 passengers or 6,000 lb (2,722 kg) of cargo, enabling the transport of critical spare parts and personnel to hard-to-reach areas.
  • Versatile Operations: Its rugged design allows it to operate from short and unprepared runways, improving connectivity between logistics hubs and remote operations.
  • Financial Backing: To support business growth, Textron Financial offers tailored financing solutions for the acquisition of these aircraft, helping companies expand their fleets with capital structures adapted to the sector’s realities.

Beechcraft King Air 360C Special Missions: The benchmark for Special Missions

At this year’s edition, the iconic King Air will be showcased in its Special Missions configuration, a highly versatile platform for critical services.

  • Special Missions: Equipped with an extended utility nose for surveillance sensors and a cargo door ideal for high-complexity air ambulance (Medevac) missions.
  • Surveillance and Rescue: Its ability to integrate EO/IR sensors and its extended-range (ER) fuel tanks make it a leading platform for maritime patrol, search and rescue (SAR), and border surveillance.
