The LEO advantage: An enterprise-Grade Network

Unlike traditional satellite systems (GEO), which suffer from high latency, or commercial LEO networks that become saturated in high-density areas, Gogo’s approach sets a different paradigm.

Gogo leverages an enterprise-grade Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellation built specifically for corporate mobility. What does this mean operationally? There is no bandwidth sharing with residential users. This ensures consistent performance, data transmission stability, and the ability to support cloud-based applications regardless of flight route.

Hardware architecture: Gogo Galileo performance

Onboard integration is a critical factor. One of the major advantages of Gogo Galileo is that the antenna terminal is a direct addition that seamlessly integrates with pre-existing systems, such as any LRU within the AVANCE family (LX5, L5, L3 and SCS) or Satcom Direct SDR systems.

Gogo Galileo offers two fuselage-mounted antenna configurations, adaptable according to mission profile and aircraft size:

HDX Terminal (Compact and efficient):

FDX Terminal (Premium performance):

• Performance: Up to 195 Mbps download and 32 Mbps upload.
• Specifications: 40–45 lbs (18.14–20.41 kg) weight and maximum power consumption of 330W (28VDC). Designed for large-cabin aircraft demanding maximum data throughput.

Additionally, the Gogo ecosystem streamlines maintenance through over-the-air (OTA) software updates and proactive monitoring tools that report system status in real time.

SD Government: Tactical resilience and cybersecurity

For government and special mission operations, signal loss is not an option. By integrating the SD Government division, we deliver communication networks that leverage multi-orbit and multi-band capabilities to achieve total redundancy.

These hybrid solutions support mission-critical voice, data, and video applications.
